Objective Observing inhibiting power of the alcohol extract of Hedyotisdiffusa in the people multidrug leukemic cell, and try to find the possiblemechanisms.Methods Detecting inhibiting power of the alcohol extract of Hedyotisdiffusa in the k562/adm cell with mtt method, examining theglutathione(GSH)level and activity of glutathione S -transferase (GST) ,glutathione peroxidase(GPX) and lipid peroxidation(MDA) level in thek562/adm cell.Results The alcohol extract of Hedyotis diffusa can inhibit the generationof the k562/adm cell, as well in the manner of dose and time dependence. thepossible method is the extract can degrade the glutathione(GSH) level,theactivity of glutathioneS -transferase (GST) ,glutathione peroxidase(GPX) andupgrade the lipid peroxidation(MDA) level.Conclution The alcohol extract of Hedyotis diffusa of the k562/adm cell tocan inhibit k562/adm cell by the way of affecting the oxidative stress level ,this is one of the important mechanisms in the role of the anti-tumor of theHedyotis diffusa.
