A Study On Anatomy And Radiological Measurement Related To Transpedicular Screw Internal Fixation In Lower Cervical Spine

Objective:To go to more exact point and direction during the screw fixation make sure to insert screw successfully by measuring the dimension of the lower cervical spine pedicle.Materials and Methods:Twenty-seven Chinese adult cadaver cervical specimens including C3 to C7 vertebrace were measured by a digital caliper and a goniometer contains pedicle height, pedicle width, total pedicle length and were scanned by CT scanner contains pedicle height, pedicle width, pedicle length, pedicle spongy core height, pedicle spongy core width, pedicle transect angle, pedicle sagittal angle, pedicle spongy core transect proportion. Compare the results of specimens and that of CT.
