The hypertension is one of prevalent diseases in the cardiovascular clinic. During recent years, hypertension has two tends: on one hand, the patients have become younger and younger; on the other hand, the incidence of the disease has universally risen up. Many patients became serious and then died from the blood vessel disease of brain and the heart or renal failure finally induced by hypertension. Although a lot of extensive researches have been done, etiology factors of hypertension are still not completely clear. The main treatments of hypertension are often classified into two groups: medicine-treatment and non-medicine-treatment. But the western chemical medicine treatments of hypertension still have many limitations. Because of their insufficiencies, such as the medicine function could be insufficiently temperate, the scope of its function could be greatly wide and there could be many side effects, and so on. So the use of the chemical medicine is limited in certain degree. But the botanicals, especially traditional Chinese native medicines, have good functions on hypertension. Therefore, finding a good treatment of hypertension by the Chinese medicine is always the goal of a cardiovascular medicine researcher or a clinical worker. In this study, the effects of Cirsium japonicum DC(CJDC) and Cephalanoplos segetum(Bge) Kitam(CSBK) on hypertension were researched. According to the traditional method of Chinese medicine, decoctions of CJDC or CSBK were made. The effects of CJDC decoction and CSBK decoction on hypertension were studied in three parts as bellow.First part: The effects of CJDC and CSBK on the isolated heart of toad...
