[BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE]Activation of oncogene and inactivation of antioncogene may be the main factors lead to human carcinoma. With all cervical cancer screening methods and technology development in the world within the scope of its rate downward trend, but the situation in developing countries is not optimistic.Human papilloma virus (HPV), particularly in high-risk HPV infection and cervical cancer and precancerous lesions are closely related. However, some scholars have found human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) infection and cervical cancer may be related to the occurrence, as well as possible human cytomegalovirus promoter, synergies HPV induced cervical cancer.Up to date, p53 gene is the strongest antioncogene. P73 gene is the new member of p53 family which was found in 1997. P73 gene was given more and more attention since its foundation. Now p73 is a hotspot in cancer research. But there were not enough evidence to prove the p73 gene as antioncogene. Our research aim at p73 expression in cervical carcinoma and the relationship between HPV/CMV infection and p73 expression.[SUBJECTS AND METHODS]2006.2 2004.4 -- the study came from Shandong University in Jinan Central Hospital Clinical Medicine and Gynecology clinic 2006.2 2005.4 - Qilu Hospital, Shandong University Hospital gynecological clinic. 100 patients group(38 cases of...
