In heat-triggered drug targeting using ultrasound ,Chemotherapeutic agents is encapsulated in thermo sensitive liposome and then delivered to tumor. Array phased ultrasound can heat the targeted area. The heat induced by ultrasound can open the capsule then release the chemotherapeutic agents in expected area. This technology can not only increase the local concentration of chemotherapeutic agents, but also prevent the whole body damaged by chemotherapeutic agents. Also, the heat can sensitize the released chemotherapeutic agents. In order to protect normal tissues and increase the treatment efficiency, we must have an exact understanding of location of the targeted area. But the current ultrasound imaging technique can not do it alone. In this paper, we exploited the image guided localization system based on multimodality image registration.Firstly, we researched the design and implementation of the image guided localization system based on multimodality image registration. We segment tumor in higher -resolution CT image and then registered it with the ultrasound images. Then the contour of the tumor in pre-operation CT images...
