Objective: Malignant ovarian germ cell tumors always happen in adolescent women. It doesn't only grow fast but also have high malignance. In these years,the treatment mode of malignant ovarian germ cell tumors have changed greatly, which improved prognosis evidently. Our text analysised the clinical information about the 18 patients with malignant ovarian germ cell tumors, accordingly to discuss the treatment conditions.Methods: Collected 18 patients with malignant ovarian germ cell tumors from January in 1997 to December in 2006 treated in First Affiliated Hospital Of Dalian Medical University, we wanted to analysis retrospectively the treatment conditions about the 18 patients combining the informations about classification of pathology, distributing of ages and FIGO staging. Operation included the operation of preserved fertility and radical operation. In 18 cases,13 cases deployed operation of preserved fertility,5 cases deployed radical operation.Post-op chems mainly included PVB (platinum + vinblastine+bleocin) project and PEB (platinum + etoposide + bleocin ) project. After operation 11 cases adopted PEB project to chemotherapy, 5 cases adopted PVB project to therapy.Results:In 18 cases,3 cases have been lost,2 cases have been dead,13 cases is survival.In the cases of preserved fertility, 12 cases have recovered menstrual, 8 cases had been pregnant,3 cases have procreated.Conclusion: We think that the treatment of preserved fertility is effective method to treat with malignant ovarian germ cell tumors for yong women. The treatment of radical operation is essential for the patients without the desire of fertility and advanced stage. Post-op chems takes up the central station in treatment of malignant ovarian germ cell tumors. Itexerts important action for elevating survival rate and the quality of living to process chems systemly, fully, normally and efficiently.
