Superior vena cava syndrome in Behcet's disease is very rare. The role of vasculitis in the aetiology of these embolisms has not been clarified. In this paper, a 38-year-old man with Behcet's disease who developed superior vena cava syndrome after 7 years, superior vena cava syndrome was detected by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Treatment with prednisone, pulse cyclophosphamide and warfarine was started and clinical symptoms partly improved in 2 weeks. In conclusion, we think that we should always remembered that Behcet's disease involve in vascellums is relatively common. Steroid, cyclophosphamide and anticoagulant therapy may be effective for unruptured small thrombogenesis in patients with Behcet's disease.
