Objective: The aim of my study was to state the value of high sensitivity C- reactive protein in cardiovascular diseases through comparison the level of high sensitivity C- reactive protein in patients with the acute coronary syndrome, the stable angina pectoris and the metabolic syndrome. Methods: The sixty subjects were respectively attached to the metabolic syndrome, the stable angina pectoris or the acute coronary syndrome, they were examined high sensitivity C- reactive protein before they were treated. These subjects were in or out of the hospital from September, 2006 to February, 2007.Results: The high sensitivity C- reactive proteins in patients with metabolic syndrome, stable angina pectoris or acute coronary syndrome were respectively 1.04±0.37mg/L,1.66±0.49mg/L,5.43±1.56mg/L. According to analysis of variance, the high sensitivity C-reactive protein of three groups has statistics difference. Judged by q checkout, the high sensitivity C-reactive protein in patients with acute coronary syndrome was the highest, which has obviously statistics difference. Conclusion: The high sensitivity C-reactive protein is not only an important forecasting factor of coronary heart disease happened in subhealthy crowd, but also a forecasting factor of coronary heart disease patients whose illness were to worsen.
