Allium satirum has many kinds of names, such as garlic. It is dry cane of Liliaceae garlic.Modern medical study shows that garlic oil is the most effective component. These activated elements, for example, amino acid, protein, vitamine and so on,play important parts in health caring and service curing of human being. They also affect to control cancer, resist bacteria, prevent disease, etc. The pure compound of garlic oil is smell. It is not convenient to eat and not easy to store. The thesis was aiming at preparing of inclusion compound withβ-CD to improve bioavailability of garlic oil and preparing of sustained-release tablet(SRT) whose effect can last 12h to improve the patient compliance, maintain relatively constant plasma concentration,by using hydroxylpropylmethyl-cellulose (HPMC) as basic matrix material.According to the literature, ultraviolet(UV) spectrophotometry was developed for physicochemical properties of garlic oil, concent ofβ-CD inclusion compound and drug release of SRT ;Highper-formance liquid chromatography(HPLC) was applied in the determination of content. The influence of different kinds of conditions of abstraction on the abstraction quotiety of garlic oil was examined and the L9(34) orthogonal experiment indicated the best way. Finally, the garlic oil was included byβ-CD.After studying at preparing of inclusion compound withβ-CD,we also tested the influence of prescription, technology and other facts on the dissolution of SRT, according to the dissolution in 12h.In addition, basing on the results of single-factor tests, L9(34) orthogonal design test was carried out to optimize the formulation.
