The Study On The Relationship Between Thyrotropin Receptor Antibody Of Graves Disease And The TCM Dialectics

Graves disease is a kind of thyroid gland disease, which is a kind of i mmunologicaldisease that secretes excess thyroid hormone. There is relat ionship between the outbreak of this disease and the hereditary and envir onmental factors. The clinical manifestations are as below:diffuse goiter,high metabolic symptom complex, endocrine infiltrative exophthalmos and other manifestation, the syndromes may appear separately or at the same ti me but without high metabolic symptom complex. In TCM theory, GD is caused by emotional injury and diet, that leading to disorder of zang-fu organ th en produces stasis qi, liver fire, phlegm stasis, blood stasis. Some people think thyrotropin receptor antibody is the main reason causing GD, and usi ng the anti-thyroid grand drugis the main reason that makes TRAb negative. Treating GD with TCM, thedifferentiation of symptoms and signs may not th e same, but they are concentrated, that is effective guide to treat the dis ease. Treating hyperthyroidism with TCM and Western medicine gets a good r esult, bring TCM into play and low dwon the untoward effect of western med icine. So that is superior in treating hyperthyroidism with TCM and wester n medicine.Purpose:This research monitors GD patients' TRAb value and carrys onTC M analysis, makes statistical analysis, and then finds out relationship be tween TRAb and TCM. Raise the understanding to the the reason causing GD.P ut forward the Chinese medicine treatment which makes the TRAb turn negat ive, raise Chinese medicine's curative effect to GD andreduce GD recrudes ce.Method:Collect 127 GD cases in the number one affiliated hospital of Gu angzhou tcm university from 2005-2006. The collections goes into course of disease, outbreak number of times, total course of illness, triiodothyroni he, thyroxine, free triiodothyronine, free thyroxine, thyrotropic stimulat ing hormone, thyroglobulin antibody, thyroid microsomal antibody, TRAb, ty pe-B ultrasonic of thyroid gland. Statistical method, use SPSS10.0 to car ry on data covariance analysis.Result:There is no direct relationship between TRAb and FT3, FT4, thesi ze of thyroid gland , TGAb, TMAb. The TCM analysis shows there is signific ant difference between TRAb value and deficiency of qi, deficiency of yin, deficiency of yin, deficiency of yang, qi stasis, phlem stasis, the excess fi re of liver and stomach (P＜0. 05) .There is no significant difference amo ng the deficiency of qi, deficiency of yin and deficiency of yang group (P＞0.05) .There is no significant difference among the three groups of qi s tasis, phlem stasis, the excess fire of liver and stomach (P＞0.05) .Conclusion:It will express for deficiency syndrome when the titer of TR Ab attaining certain degree, so the order is as below:deficiencyof yin＞deficiency of qi＞deficiency of yang＞phlegm stasis＞excess fireof liver an d stomach＞qi stasis. Deficiency of yin, qi and yang stand out in these def iciency syndrome, so there is relationshipbetween thetiter of TRAb and qi deficiency. When deficiency of yin, qi or yang appear, the titer of TRAb ri ses correspondingly, which could be the main diagnosis standard of recurre nce. So clinically, deficiency of yin and qi takes a big part in GD, deficie ncy of yang is caused by long disease, treating with method of adding qi a nd nourishing yin will improve thecondition of deficiency of yin and qi.T hat is the main method by means of improving deficiency of yin and qi to low down TRAb, that is also important methods to cure the disease.
