Treating Protrusion Of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc With Honghua Injection Via Sacral Canal Injection And The Effects On Concentrations Of IgG And IgM

[OBJECT](1) To observate the clinical curative effect of honghua via Sacral canal injection totreat LIDP, and provide the clinical material to treat LIDP contrasting with dexamethasone.(2) To investigate the effect of honghua via Sacral canal injection to treat LIDP andthe relevance with IgG, IgM in blood serum.[MATERIALS AND METHODS]We Choosed the 60 LIDP patients, 20 to 60 years old, divided into two groups inrandom: Steroid Group(SG) and Honghua Group(HG), 30 patients each.SG: dexamethasone5mg+2% Xylocaine 7ml+VitB₁100mg+VitB₁₂1mg+physiological saline to 30ml; HG:honghua injection 4ml+2% Xylocaine 7ml+VitB₁100mg+VitB₁₂1mg+physiologicalsaline to 30ml. The drugs were used via Sacral canal, 3 weeks and 1 time each week. Wegraded respectively before the first treatment, the seventh day, the 14th day and 21st day,evaluate the sufferer's clinical curative effect before the 7th day, the 14th day and 21stday,detected IgG and IgM from blood serum before the first treatment and after treatment.[RESULT](1) Curative effect: when 7th day the total effective rate in HG was 80%, and 70% inSG.; when 14th day the total effective rate in HG was 86%, and 80% in SG.;when 21st day the total effective rate in HG was 97%, and 90% in SG..The effect was good in two groups andHG better than SG remarkably (P＜0.05).(2) The grades of pain: The grades of all patients improved remarkably (P＜0.05) andHG better than SG(P＜0.05).(3) The change of IgG and IgM in blood serum: The IgG and IgM levels of all patientsdeclined remarkably (P＜0.05) and HG declined more than SG(P＜0.05).[CONCLUSION]The patients's symptom could be improved obviously with Honghua via Sacral canalinjection, and the curative effect was better than Dexamethasone,and hopefully substitutingfor Dexamethasone to treat LIDE Honghua injection could prevent with the side effect ofhormone.enriched the treatment of LIDP. The curative effect was related with the decline ofIgG and IgM in blood serum obviously. So the declined value could be think as a target tojudge the effect of LIDP in the future.
