Fissistigma oldhamii (Hemsl.) Merr., formally named Tieniu- zuanshi, Zuansanfeng or Xiangteng is a plant of Fissistigma Ggriff.. The plant of Fissistigma Ggriff. has about 75 kinds and widespreadly distributes in Africa, Oceania , the Asia torrid zone and Subtropical zone. In China, there is 23 kinds of Fissistigma oldhamii(Hemsl.)Merr., which primarily distributes in ZheJiang, FuJian, Taiwan, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi and Yunnan provinces. Its radix and rhizoma have been used as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which have the properties of expelling wind, removing moisture, promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis and invigorating pulse-beat to relieve pain. It has been widely used as a folk TCM to cure all kinds of inJuries, arthritis, chest pain, stomache and the sciatic nerve pain. In order to find the bioactive constituents, we made an alkaloid isolation study and a system isolation study on the chemical constituents of Fissistigma oldhamii.This dissertation consists of three parts. The first part is a review of the research progress of the plants of Fissistigma Ggriff. and Fissistigma oldhamii (Hemsl.)Merr., which mainly included their chemical constituens and pharmacology activities. The second part is about the chemical constituents of Fissistigma oldhamii (Hemsl.) Merr. Combing with the silica gel columu, alumi- num oxide neutral columu and preparative thin layer chromatography technology, we made an alkaloid isolation study and a system isolation study;On the basis of physical-chemical constants and spectral data (IR,EI-MS,1H-NMR,13C-NMR,DEPT,1H-1H COSY,HSQC,HMBC), the structures of the compounds were identified. We preliminarily discussed about the antifungal activities of the total alkaloid abstracts and system isolation abstracts from Fissistigma oldhamii and the antifungal activities of its compounds are in progress.The third part is the general concl- usion of this dissertation.Consulting the domestic and abroad references, ninety five compounds from Fissistigma Ggriff.and twenty eight compounds from Fissistigma oldhamii (Hemsl.) Merr. were obtained . Their main compounds were alkaloids and flavonoids besides steroids,organic acid,glycosides and the others. By means of those work, we isolated and puried seventeen compounds and thirteen compounds including five alkaloids, two flavonoids, four steroids, one anthraquinone and one organic acid were identified as O-methylmoschatoline(1),β-sitosterol(3), Stigmastero1 (4), Berberine (5), Physcion (6), Stigmast-4-en-3-one (7), 5,6,7,8-tetramethoxyflavone (8), Xylopine (9), Oxoxylopine (10), Daucousterol (11), Aristolactam AⅡ(14), Syringic acid (16), (-)-Epicatechin (17), the structure of compound 2,12,13 and 15 is in progress. Among which, compounds 5,7 and 8 were firstly obtained to the Fissistigma Griff.and compound 4 was firstly obtained from Fissistigma oldhamii (Hemsl.) Merr.. The results of antifungal activities showed that the extract from Fissistigma oldhamii had relatively high antifungal activities at a concentration of 10 mg/mL .The abstracts of total alkaloids, chloroform and ethyl acetate showed high antifungal activities and had 100% inhibiting rate respectively against Glorosprium musarum (Berk and Curt) Arx, Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. Niveum, Mycosphaerella sentina (Fr.) Schroeter,Pestalotia calabae Westond and Sphaceloma fawcettii Jen kins. Inhibition which the original extract from Fissistigma oldhamii against Sphaceloma fawcettii Jen kins, the abstract of petrol ether against Mycosphaerella sentina (Fr.) Schroeter and Sphaceloma fawcettii Jen kins, the abstract of n-butanol against Glorosprium musarum (Berk and Curt)Arx, Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. Niveum, Mycosphaerella sentina (Fr.) Schroeter and Pestalotia calabae Westond had more than 50% and they had antifungal activities.The experiment provided us with some clues to make Fissistigma oldhamii as a good plant antifungal agent.
