The Proportions Of Tregs And NKT In Patients With Lymphoma And Its Clinical Significance

Objective:The present study was designed to evaluate the properation and changes of CD4~+CD25~+-Tregutory cells and Vα24~+CD161~+NKT in peripheral blood of patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma,investigate the mechanism of immune suppression in lymphoma,and the influence factors,provide evidence for intervention in immune function.Methods:The peripheral blood was collected from 40 patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma or Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma before treatment,and 30 healthy people.The proportions of Tregs and NKT were analyzed by flow cytometry(FCM).Result:Compared with control group,proportion of Tregs in peripheral blood lymphoma patients before treatment was(8.25±4.06)%,higher than those of healthy people(6.31±2.27)%, P＜0.05.There were no significant differences of proportions of Tregs among patients with lymphoma of different clinical stages(P＞0.05),and different LDH levels[P＞0.05. (8.07±2.81)%vs(8.21±1.55)%,respectively].The expression of CD4CD25 in low malignant group were less than those of the other two groups.(P＜0.05).Patients who got CR showed the decreased levels of Tregs(7.52±2.64)%which was less than those in patients with PR (8.76±2.57)%,P＜0.05.The percentage of NKT was less than those of healthy donors [(0.29±0.13)%versus(0.56±0.15)%]P＜0.01.No significant differences of proportions of NKT was found among patients lymphoma of different clinical stages(P＞0.05),and different malignant grade(P＞0.05),and different LDH levels(P＞0.05),and between CR and PR.Conclution:The population of CD4~+CD25~+-Tregs in peripheral blood of the patients with lymphoma was significantly higher than those in healthy donors,which may be one of the important reasons of immunesuppression in lymphoma.Population of Va24~+CD161~+NKT decreased in peripheral blood of patients with lymphoma,It may play role in immunosuppression of lymphoma.The patients with lymphoma usually have a poor immune response.
