This paper introduces two methods that ECG features are recognized according to Rough Set and Vague Set. The first, a modified approach of linear approximation distance thresholding (LADT) algorithm is given. The improvement avoids the case that in the LADT algorithm the excessive smoothness appears in the surrounding wave ridge and trough. Thus the quality of the approximation is the performance. Then, the QRS complexes are detected and the features of the ECG signals are obtained through analyzing the segments. The second, the similarity measures of vague set are used to detect the QRS complex based on that the ECG waves have the different frequencies. And the correct rate of QRS detection is improved comparing with the ANN adaptive whitening filter.After detecting the character points of the ECG signals, the case is judged by vague decision table according to the theory of the ECG analysis and practical diagnose .The method has a good result, and will be of great practical value.
