| Objective Studying if it was reasonable allocation and effective utilization through describing health resources of different levels of township hospitals in poor area. Providing the scientific basis for the rational allocation and utilization of health resources, health-related policies and strategies for health management organizations. Methods Adopt the method of stratified random sampling, investigate 18 township hospitals in 6 sampling Counties. Results The survey show average housing area was 1593.33m~2 in every center hospital, new housing area was 598.83m~2 in 5 years, 14.5 beds, beds per 1000 population of 0.80. Medical personnel were 22.67, personnel per 1000 population 1.26, average service population was 18,000 , average hospitalization was 4.22 days, the bed using rate was 17.95%, the outpatient amounted to 7904.17, inpatient amounted to 224.83 and the bed turnover times was 4.23.Howerver, average housing area 612.41m in every general hospital, new housing area was 301.83 m in 5 years, 5.08 beds, beds per 1000 population of 0.27. Medical personnel were 11.50, personnel per 1000 population 0.60,average service population was 19,000, average hospitalization was 2.64 days, the bed using rate was 15.28%, the outpatient amounted to 6947.50, inpatient amounted to 107.58, the bed turnover times was 2.64. Correlation did not exist when we compared every variables of general hospital by spearman. Inpatient number of center hospital was not correlated with beds. Inpatient number was correlated with the average hospitalization, the bed using rate, the bed turnover times. The bed using rate was correlated with the bed turnover times. Medical personnel of general hospital had correlation with health equipment. The house area was negative correlated with medical personnel. Conclusion Distribution of material resources and human resources were obviously focused on center hospital. Health resource utilization of center hospital was higher than general hospital. Allocation and utilization of health resource were unreasonable in township hospitals. |
