The goat placenta extracts were prepared by technological process including homogenizing,repeated freezing and thawing,enzyme digesting,extracting of goat placentas.The two kinds of goat placenta health product capsules(GPHP Iand GPHPⅡ) were prepared by mixing the extracts of goat placentas with several kinds of supplementary materials according to two formulas.The amount of goat placenta extract in each capsule for GPHPⅠand GPHPⅡis equivalent to 15g and 30g fresh goat placenta respectively.In these experiments,mice were used to test the toxicity,the effects on the immunity from disease and the effects on a few of indices of anti-fatigue and anti-aging of the health products(GPHPⅠand GPHPⅡ).The toxicity tests included acute toxicity to treated mice,sperms deformation rate of treated mice and health condition of mice which had been treated for 30 days.The tests of effects on the immunity from disease of treated mice included immune organ indexes,phagocytic index,charcoal particles clearance,delayed type hypersensitivity reaction and hemolytic content of blood serum.The tests of effects on indices of anti-fatigue and anti-aging of the treated mice included swimming time test, BUN content test,the SOD activity of red blood cell and MDA content test.40 mice were classed into three experiment groups and one control group randomly and there were 10 mice in every group for each test for GPHPI and GPHPⅡ.The mice in three experiment groups were fed one dosage,five dosages and ten dosages of GPttPⅠor GPHPⅡrespectively and mice in control group were fed the same amount of physiological saline solution.The results of toxicity test of GPHPⅠand GPHPⅡindicated that two kinds of the health products were nontoxic to mouse.No treated mouse died,and all treated mice were in good healthiness,and no treated mice presented chill and mania during the acute toxicity tests and 30 days feeding tests in all experiment groups.The sperm deformation rates of mice in three experiment groups of GPHPⅠand control group were 3.90%,3.95%,3.65%and 3.80% respectively,and the differences in sperm deformation rate between the experiment groups and control group were not significant(p>0.05).The sperm deformation rates of mice in three experiment groups of GPHPⅡand control group were 3.95%,3.85%,4.15%and 3.80% respectively,and the differences in sperm deformation rates between the experiment groups and control group were not significant(p>0.05)either.The results of immunity tests indicated that the thymus indices of mice in all experiment groups of GPHPⅠwere not significantly different from the index of control group(p>0.05).Spleen index of mice in high dosage experiment group of GPHPⅠ(8.342) was most significantly higher than these of control group(6.104)(p<0.05).The results showed that cellular immunity(delayed type hypersensitivity reaction test)of mice in low and middle dosage experiment groups of GPHPⅠwere 2.49 and 2.51 respectively and were significant higher than these of control groups(p<0.05),and these of high dose experiment group of GPHPⅠ(3.00)was most significant higher than these of control groups(p<0.01). And humoral immunity ability(sero-hemolysin test)of mice in low dosage experiment group of GPHPⅠ(49.2)was increased significantly(p<0.05),and these of middle(58.1) and high dosage experiment groups(80.6)were increased most significantly(p<0.01).The tests of mononuclear phagocyte function(carbon clearance assay)indicated that there was not significant difference between the mice of three experiment groups and the mice of control group(p>0.05).The phagocytization of abdominal cavity phagocyte to chicken red blood cell of mice in low dosage experiment group of GPHPⅠwas 0.294 and was significant higher than these of control group(0.254)(p<0.05),these of middle and high dosage experiment groups were 0.327 and 0.352 respectively,and were most significant higher than these of control group(0.254)(p<0.01).Therefore,it could be concluded that GPHPⅠhad obviously favorable effects on the immunity of mouse.The results of immunity tests indicated that the thymus indices of mice in all experiment groups of GPHPⅡwere not significantly different from the index of control group(p>0.05).Spleen index of mice in high dosage experiment group of GPHPⅡ(7.734)was most significantly higher than these of control group(6.104)(p<0.05).The results showed that cellular immunity ability(delayed type hypersensitivity reaction test)of mice in high dosage experiment group of GPHPⅡwere 2.85 and were significant higher than these of control group(p<0.05).And humoral immunity(sero-hemolysin test)of mice in low dosage experiment group of GPHPⅡ(42,4)was increased significantly(p<0.05),and these of middle(59.1) and high dosage experiment groups(71.0)were enhanced most significantly(p<0.01).The tests of mononuclear phagocyte function(carbon clearance assay)indicated that there was significant difference in mononuclear phagocyte functions between the mice of middle dosage experiment group(0.04265)and the mice of control group(p<0.05).The phagocytization of abdominal cavity phagocyte to chicken red blood cellof mice in low dosage experiment group of GPHPⅡwas 0.269 and was not significant higher than these of control group(0.254)(p>0.05),these of middle and high dosage experiment groups were 0.327 and 0.352 respectively,and were significant higher than these of control group(0.2541 (p<0.01).Therefore,it could be concluded that the GPHPⅡhad obviously favorable effects on the immunity of mouse too.Anti-fatigue and anti-aging tests of GPHPⅠindicated that SOD activity of RBC of mice in high dosage experiment groups were 55120.60 U/g Hb,and were most significantly higher than these of control group(48355.31 U/g Hb)(p<0.05).And Serum MDA content of mice in high dosage experiment group of GPHPⅠwas 12.298,and was most significantly higher than these of control group(14.340)(p<0.01).The swimming ability tests indicated that the swimming ability of mice in all dosage experiment groups of GPHPⅠwere not significantly higher than these of control group(p>0.05).And Serum BUN contents of mice in middle and high dosage experiment groups of GPHPⅠwere12.88 and 12.12 respectively,and were most significantly lower than these of control group(14.61) (p<0.01).It could be concluded that GPHPⅠhas favorable effects on the ability of anti-fatigue and anti-aging of mouse.Anti-fatigue and anti-aging tests of GPHPⅡindicated that SOD activity of RBC of mice in middle and high dosage experiment groups were 54006.42 U/g Hb and 57643.10 U/g Hb respectively,and were most significantly higher than these of control group(48355.31 U/g Hb)(p<0.01).And Serum MDA content of mice in middle and high dosage experiment groups of GPHPⅡwere 13.277 and 13.085 respectively,and were most significantly higher than these of control group(14.340) (p<0.01).And the swimming ability tests indicated that the swimming ability of mice in a high dosage experiment group of GPHPⅡwere significant higher than these of control group(p<0.05).And Serum BUN contents of mice in middle and high dosage experiment groups of GPHPⅡwere12.34 and 12.53 respectively,and were most significantly lower than these of control group(14.61)(p<0.01).It could be concluded that GPHPⅡhas favorable effects on the ability of anti-fatigue and anti-aging of mouse too.It could be concluded that the both GPHPⅠand GPHPⅡhad obviously favorable effects on the immunity of mouse and on the ability of anti-fatigue and anti-aging of mouse too.And the effects of GPHPⅡis better than GPHPⅠ.
