Objective: To evaluate the influence of iodine concentration of different contrastmediums for coronary angiography with 64-detecor spiral computed tomography.Materials and methods: After the study of CM injection protocol and influence ofpatient related factors for image quality, 44 patients suspected of coronary arterydisease were consecutively analyzed using 64-detetor computed tomography. Allpatients were randomly divided into 3 groups accorfing to theconcentration(320mgI/ml, 350mgI/ml and 370mgI/ml) of contrast mediums. Afterimage reconstruction, raw data were post proceed to analyz mage quality includingenhancement and visiabililty of every segment of coronary artery. Attenuation wasmeasured in ascending aorta, descending aorta, and coronary arteries. Results: All thedata were satisfy to evaluate. There was no significant difference of enhancement andvisibility in 3 groups. Conclusion: There was no significant correlation betweeniodine concentration of contrast mediums and image quality for all segments in threegroups.
