| Objective:1.To investigate the role of Staphylococcus enterotoxin B during the process of mycteric chronic inflammation.2.To investigate the expression of muscarinic receptor 3 during the process of chronic inflammation in nasal cavity.3.To settle a foundation for the research of a possible association between SEB and muscarinic receptor 3.Methods:30 patients with both chronic sinusitis and nasal polyposis(CRSwNP)were selected to be investigated.During the endoscopic surgery, nasal polyp tissue and edema mucosa were obtained from the 30 patients through aseptic technique. We detected Staphylococcus aureus colony and SEB through bacterial culture and PCR,the location and density of muscarinic receptor 3 were determined through immunohistochemical method and RT-PCR.Contrast control samples are tissues taken from the same patients after 3 months, and the same index are detected with the same methods. In the end,we drew a conclution through statistical analysis. Results:Staphylococcus aureus colony were cultivanted in 13 patients and SEB were analyzed in 9 patients with CRSwNP.Muscarinic cholinergic receptor 3 overexpressed on mucous gland and blood capillary in nasal mucosa of 30 patients with CRSwNP.After nasal endoscopic surgery, Staphylococcus aureus colony were cultivanted in 5 patients,SEB disappeared. The M3 muscarinic receptor decreased too. Conclusions:The experiment demonstrated that SEB play an important role in the development of mycteric chronic inflammation and the muscarinic cholinergic receptor 3 overexpress in nasal cavity. After combined therapy including nasal endoscopic surgery, detection rate of SEB depressed,M3 receptor decreased.Whether or not the two have a possible association is going to be the further investigative object. |
