Objective:To study the clinical value of the combined SPECT and CT in breast tumor imaging and evaluate axillary lymph node metastasis and bone metastasis.Methods::Total 80 female patients with breast masses in our hospital were examined by SPECT/CT detection;Every patients underwent breast scanning using Technetium-99m-sestamibi99Tcm-MIBI)and SPECT/CT.The position patieng of breast imaging with 99Tcm-MIBI underwent 99Tc-methylene diphosphonate(MDP)whole bone scanning and SPECT/CT bone scan. The scintigraphy results were analysed.compares with the pathology results.Results:51 of 80 patients were breast cancer,29 of 80 patients were benign breast masses. The sensitivity of fusion image was higher than planar image in diagnose of breast cancer were (88.2%vs82.4%,P<0.05).The specificity and accuracy of fusion image were93.1%vs 90% respectively, the positive findings in combined SPECT/CT were more than those of planer imaing(79.3%vs 81.3%)。.These Sensitivity(77.2%vs81.8%)and specificity(86.2%vs89.7) of fusion imaging and planar imaging respectively in detecting axillary lymph node metastasis.18 of 45 patients were positive in whole body bone scan,16 of 18 patients were diagnosed for bone metastasis. Conclusion:Combined SPECT and CT has high Sensitivity and specificity in detecting breast cancer and axillary lymph node metastasis. The specificity in combined SPECT/CT bone scan were significantly more than those of planer imaing.
