The Expression And Significance Of CD44v7 On Peripheral CD4～+T Lymphocytes In Patients With Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective: To examine the expression of CD44v7 on peripheral CD4+ T lymphocytes in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis(RA)and analyze the relevance between CD44v7 and activity indexes of RA.Methods: The subjects were 98 persons including 36 active rheumatoid arthritis , 32 remissive rheumatoid arthritis,30 healthy man. The levels of CD44v7 on Peripheral CD4+ T Lymphocytes were detected by Flow Cytometry. The core indicators of RA activity is evaluated by ACR: erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), Rheumatoid factor (RF), C-reactive protein (CRP), tender joint counts, swollen joint counts, morning stiffness, joint function and the patients' pain score.Contrast the expression of CD44v7 on peripheral CD4+ T lymphocytes in three groups and analyze the relevance of CD44v7 and activity indexes of RA.Results: The levels of CD44v7 on Peripheral CD4+ T Lymphocytes in active group was lower than remissive group and the control group(P<0.05);and remissive group was lower than the control group(P<0.05). The correlation was negative between CD44v7 and ESR, morning stiffness, swelling counts joints and Larsen score. CD44v7 didn't correlate with rheumatoid factor (RF), C-reactive protein (CRP), tender joint counts, joint function , pain scores, HAQ and DAS.Conclusion: CD44v7 may be involved in the occurrence and development of RA and play an important role in the CD4+ T lymphocyte migration.The correlation of CD44v7 and ESR, morning stiffness, swelling counts joints, Larsen score indicate that CD44v7 can partly reflect activity of RA...
