| Visible human project (VHP) was raised by American medical library in 1989, and was exclaimed on November 1989. Then, many countries began to develop their VHP. China began this project in 1999, until 2002.10,The Third military surgeon university finish the first data base about visible digital body .This experiment based on current digital technology ,build up three-dimensional image by computer .The purpose of this experiment is to build up three-dimensional image for education and clinical work ,and point out the normal numerical value of normal Chinese men .Materials and methods1.Choose a corpse of a man who had been checked without pathology, cut out the head by the annular cartilage level; then put the head into an wood box (25×25×25cm), freeze a week, then fixed it on the microstat, cut it into 190 slices by slicer ,the thickness is 1mm . Choose 2 middle men without head medical history, posture is normal .Take the MRI to get film of their head.2.Hardware systems: scanner is Microtek Slimscan C6, ture color 36bits, 600×1200DPI; Digital camera we use is DC-260 l1536×1024 picture elements; computer is Pentium4, CPU-700MHz, Hard disk 80GB. A/D change: Put the slice of head onto panel of scanner and use the computer to scan, then change the primary image into digital file and save in disk .Take the picture bu DC-260 camera and save the pictures in disk .Correct the position: When the specimen was prepared we had cross 4 red line, now take the line as signs correct the position of every picture, and correct the digital file by the software.3.Draw the border of the tissues on computer by the border collection software, then, rebuild the tissue by the rebuilding software.4.In dark house, put an glass on the film and draw the border, then, projection the border on the coordinate paper by projector. Change the proportion into 1:1, draw the border, count the squares to get the surface area ,then calculate the volume by column aspect intermediate methods.(the thickness between two films is 1cm)Result1.We get the three-dimensional rebuilding model of tissues in the cranial cavity, the image is clear and can be revolved. The model include: brain (left, right), cerebellum(left,right,vermis of cerebellum), brain stem(medulla oblongata,pons,midbrain), tentoriun of cerebellum, cerebral falx, epicele.2.The volume of tissues : the volume above tentorium of cerebellum is 1321.5cm~3,85.9% in cranial cavity; volume below tentorium of cerebellum is 216.8cm~3, 14.1% in cranical cavity, brain 1296.9cm~3, 84.30%, cerebellum 145.3cm~3 9.45%, brain stem 27.3cm~3 1.78% ,epicele 1.4cm~3 0.09%.3.Volume of tissues in normal Chinese men cranial cavity : brain 1569.9±204.24cm~3, cerebellum 172.1±25.67cm~3, brain stem 25.4±1.66cm~3, epicele 1.5±0.08cm~3. ConclusionThis experiment succeed in rebuilding the three-dimensional model of tissues in cranel cavity .The model not only can be show lonely but also can be combine and the model can be gifted different color. The image can be revolved, fixed position. This experiment got the normal data about Chinese men cranel cavity tissues, and we find that counting the volume by column aspect intermediate methods had serious errors, three-dimension rebuilding method is better to adopt. |
