[OBJECTIVE] This investigation was designed to observe the changes of BP wave of the conscious and freely moving hypertensive rats in experimental arrhythmia and futher confirm if hypertension easily occurs experimental arrhythmia include VP, VF even CA and if there exists discrepancy in different genus hypertensive rats.[METHODS] SHR, WKY, LH and LL were used as animal models of experimental arrhythmias. First, anaesthetic SHRs were connected to the BP and electrocardiograph monitoring system, they were adminstered aconitine (10mg/L, 0.2ml/min) through infusion pump to induce ventricular arrhythmia. The BP wave and electrocardiogram (ECG) were recorded at the same time. To compare the changes of two kinds of waves and determined the relationship of them. Then, according to the genus, the four kinds of rats were divided into two groups: one group was WKY and SHR, the other was LL and LH. The two groups of rats were connected to the BP monitoring system, continously recorded the blood pressure wave of these rats in conscious state, obtained their blood kinetics index and determined BRS, then giving them aconitine. To calculated the threshold dose of aconitine in VP, VF, CA as well as correlation coefficients between hemodynamic parameters and the threshold dose of arrhythmia. The third, anaesthetic SHRs were gave aconitine till their cardiac arrest. To observe the morphological changes of their hearts and make correlation analysis between the LVW, LVW/BW, CVF and the threshold of arrhythmia.[RESULT] To compare SHR and WKY rats,LH and LL rats, we found that the SBP, DBP and their respective variability of hypertensive rats are larger than that of low blood pressure rats under conscious state, but their BRS is just opposite. The values of HP and HPV in each groups are approach. The threshold dose of arrhythmia in hypertensive rats is smaller than that of in low blood pressure rats. These differences had statistical significance. BRS of LH was obversely correlated with the threshold of aconitine in VP, but LVW was just opposite.[CONCLUSION] 1. Arrhythmia is more easily occurred in hypertensive rats, it was confirmed in different genus rats. 2. The reasons of arrhythogenic agent are many factors, such as BRS reaction is lower, BPV increased, myocardial hypertrophy, etc. But all of them are not the single arrhythogenic factor.
