Objective To detect the concentration of antinucleosome antibodies (AnuA) in systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE),and to analyze its significance in the diagnosis and disease activity of SLE.Methods The Antinuclear antibody spectral line blot was used to measure the AnuA in serum of 59 SLE patients,20 patients with other rheumatic diseases(including primary SjSgren syndrome, systemic sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis。mixed connective tissue disease,).Results Of the 59 SLE patients,40.2% were seropositive for AnuA Only 10.0% of 20 control patients were seropositive (P<0.01). The prevalence of oral ulcer and proteinuria in AnuA positive SLE patients was significantly higher than those of AnuA negative SLE (P<0.05);the prevalence of Hb and C3 decreasing in AnuA positive SLE patients was higher than those of AnuA negative SLE.the prevalence of CRP increasing in AnuA positive SLE patients was higher than those of AnuA negative SLE.Condusion AnuA is one of the most valuable markers for the diagnosis of SLE.AnuA has a close relationship with the activity of SLE.AnuA is valuable in diagnosing SLE in patients with negative anti-dsDNA and Sm antibodies.
