Factors Associated With Compliance And Control Rate In Patients Inhaled Corticosteroids With Asthma

Objectives:(1) To explore the compliance level and the control rate, level. About the asthma patients inhaled corticosteroids (2) To find out the relationship between the compliance and control rate about the asthma patients t inhaled the corticosteroids (3)To explore the effects of the compliance and the control rate about the asthma patients inhaled corticosteroids ,.To provides the theory basis for effectively the prevention and control asthma.Method: From February 2007 to February 2008, 204 asthma patients came from 1st affiliated hospital of Xinjiang medical university was selected by using convenience sampling method, and was surveyed by questionnaires including the general situation of asthma patient, asthma related knowledge questionnaire, the inhaling the corticosteroids compliance questionnaire, asthma control test (ACT) and also by gathering their medical history, the symptom and lung ventilation functional check result.Results: (1) The score of asthma related knowledge of asthma patients was 60.70±9.88. (2) The score of compliance of asthma patients was 14.69±3.569, the result of multiple linear regression analysis indicated that the influential factors of asthma patient's compliance included regular re-examination, the relationship between patient and doctor, the course of disease, the economic burden, the season of athma flaring up. (3) The score of control rate of asthma patients was 18.09±5.033, the result of multiple linear regression analysis indicated that the influential factors of asthma patient's control rate included the stages of athma, the breath exercise of lip shrinking. (4) The compliance of athma patients was positively correlated with the control rate, r=0.185(P<0.01).Conclusions: (1) The level of asthma related knowledge of the asthma patients was on high and middle degree. (2) The compliance level of the asthma patients inhaled corticosteroids was on meddle level, the major influential factors were the patient regular re-examination, the medical trouble relations, the relationship between patient and doctor, the course of disease, the economic burden, the season of athma flaring up. (3) The control rate level of the asthma patients inhaled corticosteroids was on low level, the major influential factors were the stages of athma, the breath exercise of lip shrinking. (4) With the increasing of the compliance level of the 204 asthma patients inhaled corticosteroids, the control rate level would increase.
