Objective To research the case data of uterus myoma and explore the surgical style of fibromyoma of uterus. Methods We analyzed clinical data of 135 patients, who were cured in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University in 2007,with uterus myoma and discussed their surgical styles. Results Of 135 patients with fibromyoma of Uterus, there were 103 patients with clinical symptoms (76.30%) and 32 patients without clinical symptoms (23.70%). Of 135 patients with fibromyoma of Uterus, 122 patients were treated with surgical style (90.37%). Of 122 patients having surgical style, there were 27 patients with trans-abdominal hysterectomy (20.00%); there were 20 patients with total laparoscopic hysterectomy (14.81%); there were 9 patients with subtotal hysterectomy (6.67%); there were 6 patients with laparoscope subtotal hysterectomy (4.44%); there were 16 patients with trans-abdominal myomectomy(11.85%); there were 33 patients with laparoscopic myomectomy (24.44%); there were 2 patients with per vagina submucous myomectomy (1.48%); there were 9 patients with hysteroscopic myomectomy (6.67%). Conclusions Surgical operation was the best therapy for the patients who had clinical symptoms. Some of patients with fibromyoma of uterus had no clinical symptoms. Timely examination was the key for early discovery and early diagnosis. When we treated patients with fibromyoma of uterus, we should consider syntheticly their age, their further reproductive requirement, symptoms, condition of uterus myoma (site, size and number), whole body's condition, complication, mentality, economic capability, and technical level of hospital to choose therapic methods and opportunity.
