ECG contains abundant information which reflects the physical and sickness situation about the heart. The recognise and diagnose of the wave is always the emphasis of the ECG automatic analysis. External Counterpulsation system is a kind of no damage engine cycling system, it could improve the situation of the blood supply of the cardiac muscle. EC control should satisfy the order of the body physical situation. The emphasis is that the inflation and deflation time can be regulated accurately, which makes the heart from systaltic to diastolic, when the counterpulsation wave would emerge. This requires the QT interphase can be figured out accurately in design. According to the QT interphase and the inching parameter, the inflation and deflation time can be confirmed. Comparing with the Q and T wave, it is easier to detect the R wave because of its speciality. In the actual work, the QT interphase can be gained by testing R wave and counting the RR interphase.This paper combines the actual problem of the ECG automatic analysis. It discusses the QRS wave, especially the recognise and the distinguish of R wave. Furthermore, the RR interphase is counted and then predicted later, so the QT interphase can be figured out and the reasonable time of the EC. The paper mainly contains the two parts:At first, change the data form and read, design the suitable and deal with the data in advance, and remove the interferential signal. R wave is detected by using threshold, and the MIT_BIH electro cardio signal database is used to confirm the method.This paper regards a certain example of ECG signal, compares several methods to forecast the R-R interphase, such as substitute immediately, ANN, fuzzy curve fitting using least square principles. At last, according to the error index and other factors, fuzzy curve fitting using least square principles is adopted in the paper. Comparing with the other ways, it could confirm the inflation and deflation time of the EC more accurate.
