curcumin(1, 7-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methoxy phenyl)-1, 6-heptadiene-3, 5-dione), is a natural phenolic compound isolated from turmeric (Curcuma longa L.),which widely used as a spice and coloring agent in food, and endowed with beneficial biological activities, including antioxidation, anticancer, antiinflammatory, antiarthritic, antihypertensive, antihyper cholesterolemic,anticoagulant,anti-HIV,analgesic et a1. Due to the above bioactivities, curcumin has recently received considerable attention of chemists and pharmcolists around of the world, and reported by a great lot of correlative literatures. Many correlative reported studies of structure-activity relationships of curcumin analogues have been suggested that hydroxybenzene especially the hydroxy group at para-position is very critical for the expression of biological activity. Based on the special symmetryα,β-unsaturated 3, 5-dione frame work, and in order to find more active phenolic unsaturated chalcone compounds, novel eleven bis(phenolicα,β-unsaturated)chalcones--curcuminoids has been designed and prepared firstly and confirmed by 1H-NMR,MS,IR. we have also been searched a new direct synthesis way of hydroxychalcone catalyzed by p-toluene sulfonic acid。In addition, we dedicate ourselves to research on synthesis methods of cross- aldol condensations of cycloalkanones with aldehydes under solvent-free conditions and ultrasound irradiation catalyzed by NH2SO3H, and have developed a fast and convenient method to synthesizeα,α'-bis(substituted benzylidene)cycloalkanone derivatives with high yields from cycloalkanones and aromatic aldehydes. Compared with traditional method, the salient festures of this method was more short reaction time, high yield and environmental friendly. The method is also fit to the synthesis of target molecules in this thesis. These methods will be able widely to use in other organic reactions and make it more efficient and environmental friendly.
