Although the computer technology has been widely used in Biomedical, the fast rising amount of the data has announced the great challenge for the storage, computer and management to nowadays'technology. The traditional single-server model of data processing system is not enough in the expanding and update-maintenance aspects. On the other hand, the computer now is confronted with the fast speed need of data processing, which means a high computing platform is needed. Actually, the parallel computing is the only solution for these. Research on the field of processing and maintaining biomedical information, is very important and meaningful.The paper here gives three practical biomedical applications in the parallel computation, including High Performance Computing cluster (HPC), parallel control system and parallel network database. On HPC, besides the brief introduction of the parallel computation, a cluster platform based on Linux system is constructed; There are some tests on this platform, as well as the realization of parallel FFT. On parallel control system, we take the polluted water processing monitor system as an example, which is based on the multi-thread principle, to construct the distributed system of PLC. Last, an parallel database example in the Shanghai Sixth Hospital is announced. The whole system is based on the Web Services and .NET Remoting technologies, also there are some ways, such as .NET cache, stored procedure, to optimize the exam system. They are promising after practicing, which did a great help to the Medical online system.
