Objective:1. To discuss on the common risk factors of coronary artery disease (CAD) and the correlation.2. To determine the correlation between cigarette smoking index and coronary artery, clarifying cigarette smoking value as risk factors for CAD.3. To discuss the interaction of cigarette smoking and other risk factors for CAD.4. Promoting cigarette smoking cessation, stopping cigarette smoking strongly and deeping the prevention of CAD concept. Methods:A case-control study involving 727 people because of chest pain, heart discomfort, form 1999 January to 2007 July in the first Clinical Hospital of Jilin University, classified as CAD or without CAD is doing coronary angiography (CAG). Male 507 cases, female 220 cases, risk factors may be associated with the questioning and testing. With six common CAD risk factors (age, gender, diabetes, hypertension, total cholesterol, triglyceride, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and cigarette smoking consumption grade(0:no smoking, 1: less or equal 100 cigarette year,2:one hundred cigarette year0.05).7. In Multivariate logistic regression analysis, asα=0.05 standard, diabetes patients (OR=4.769, P<0.01), age (OR=1.063, P<0.01), 3 CI is significantly different (OR=2.991, P<0.01).8. The interaction of cigarette smoking melltus gender, age(≥55)(OR=2.680, P<0.01), diabetes(OR=2.780, P<0.01), The diabetes patients have the higher risk suffering from CAD than the patients over 55 years.Cigarette smoking and gender have no interaction statistically (P>0.05);The interaction of cigarette smoking and hypertension,age(≥55)(OR=3.481, P<0.01), smokers(OR=2.435, P<0.01), smokers with hypertension (OR=2.087, P<0.05), the men and women are no significant difference in this interaction (P>0.05). Diabetes(OR=2.934, P<0.05); In the interaction of smoking and diabetes, age(≥55) (OR=3.472, P<0.01), male (OR=1.693, P<0.05), smokers (OR=2.158, P<0.01), patients with diabetes (OR=2.662, P<0.01), the smokers with diabetes (OR=7.802, P<0.01), the interaction of smoking melltus diabetes have the higher risk compared with the single factor; In the three groups, smoking melltus diabetes (OR=13.811) is higher than the introduction of other factors,, followed by smoking (OR=3.708, P<0.01), age(≥55) (OR=3.476, P<0.01), diabetes with non-smoking (OR=2.630, P<0.05), men with non-smoking patients (OR=1.897, P<0.01).Smoking melltus diabetes is higher than melltus other risk factors, increased risk of 11.281 times.Conclusions1. Male, age (≥55), hypertension, smoking, diabetes, lipids is the independent risk factors of CAD. Hypertension, diabetes, smoking index, age, male, TC, LDC-L was positively correlated. Female, HDL-C was negatively correlated.2. Smoking is one of the risk factors which can be controled, The study suggests there is independent correlation between smoking and coronary artery. With more cigarettes smoked, a higher odds ratio of CAD was seen.3. In addition to single risk factor effect, there are also different interaction, smoking and other risk factors there is a more obvious interaction. Significantly, smoking melltus diabetes can enhance the risk of CAD.4. The restriction of smoking should be one of the key points to prevent and cure CAD.
