Cervical cancer is the most common malignant neoplasms among global women,in the recently year the rate of the patient is generally rising.Surgery treatment and radiotherapy are the traditional treatment, the effect is better. But the effect of radical hysterectomy is positive cervical cancer with stageⅠb2~Ⅱb,but the five years survival rate is not higher 40%,it is because of the bulky tumor and invasion.Surgery treatment and radiotherapy or surgery and radiotherapy treatment cannot resolve invasion of the tumor, they belong to partly treatment .with the development of the medicine chemotherapy, neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) is used to clinic, the effect is better.we collect 35 patients with cervical cancer and explore the recent therapeutic effect of NACT in cervical cancer. Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on cervical cancer in stageⅠb2~Ⅱb.Methods:35 patients with cervical cancer were treated with a 1~2course of venous chemotherapy, and then underwent radical surgery in all of them. The effect and safety of chemotherapy in the treatment of cervical cancer were evaluated by the lesion size, toxic side effects, operative status, and pathology. Results:The effective rate of chemotherapy was 87.1% with 5 cases of total complete remission. The therapeutic effect was not associated with clinical staging, but related to histology, there sponse to chemotherapy in squamous cell cancer was significantly higher than adenocarcinoma(P<0.05).Toxic side effects were weak. After neoadjunct chemotherapy, all of the sepatients were performed radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymphorectomy. Conclusions:Neoadjuvant chemotherapy of cervical cancer is a safe and effective therapeutic method,NACT can shrink significantly the cervical tumor, reduce invasion and metastasis, decrease complications after operation.
