Objective:To assess the prevalence of obesity, hypertension, diabetic microvascular complications and the risk factors associated with diabetic microvascular complications of T2DM patients from the diabetic complication assessment database of PLA 306 hospital from 1994.1 to 2006.12.Method:3961 patients were divided into obesity group vs nonobesity group, hypertension group vs non-hypertension group, satisfactorily controlled blood pressure group vs unsatisfactorily controlled blood pressure group,DR group vs non-DR group,DN group vs non-DN group.Analyze the microvascular complications prevalence between each group.Multivariate Logistic Regression was taken between risk factors and present of diabetes microvascular complications.Result:1.The prevalence of obesity was 24.87%,the prevalence of hypertension was 48.83%,and the prevalence of DR was 15.60%,the prevalence of DN was 21.89%.2.The prevalence of hypertension(59.39%vs45.33%%, X~2=58.564,P<0.01)and DN(25.18%vs20.80%,X~2=6.251,P<0.05) were significantly higher in those obesity than in those non-obesity,The prevalence of DR(16.43%vs13.10%,X~2=8.296,P<0.01)was significantly higher in those non-obesity than in those obesity.3.The prevalence of DR(18.36%vs12.97%,X~2=27.762,P<0.01)and DN(28.80%vs15.29%,X~2=105.605,P<0.01)was significantly higher in those hypertension than in those non-hypertension.4.The prevalence of DR(19.02%vs15.41%,X~2=2.542,P<0.05)and DN(31.39%vs17.37%,X~2=27.91,P<0.01)was significantly higher in those satisfactorily controlled blood pressure group than in those unsatisfactorily controlled blood pressure group.5.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that duration of diabetes,SBP,GHbAlc,TC were positively and significantly related to DR,duration of diabetes,SBP,GHbAlc,TG were positively and significantly related to DN.Conclusion:The prevalence of obesity, hypertension,DR and DN were high in T2DM patients. The prevalence of DR and DN are higher in satisfactorily controlled blood pressure group than in unsatisfactorily controlled blood pressure group.Duration of diabetes,SBP,GHbAlc,TC, were the related factors associated DR,Duration of diabetes,SBP, GHbAlc,TG were the related factors associated DN.
