| Objectives: To study the anti-tumor effect of Xiao-you decoction andconclude its mechanisms.Methods: Establish mice bearing U14 as experimental tumor models.Mice were randomly divided into five groups: high-dose,middle-doseand low-dose group of Xiao-you decoction, model control group,positive control group. Mice were killed after treated with drugs for11 days. We recorded the weight of mice before and after treated withdrugs, inhibiting rate of tumor, thymus index, spleen index, contentof IL-2 in its peripheral blood serum by ELISA and expression ofbcl-2 by Western Blot and RT-PCR.Results: The inhibiting rate of tumor were 27.56%, 43.13%, 37.02%.Xiao-you decoction obviously inhibited tumor without influenceingimmune organs in middle and low-dose group of Xiao-you decoction.Compared with the model group, the content of IL-2 were upregulated and the expression of bcl-2 were down regulated which hadstatistic significance.Conclusions: Xiao-you decoction can obviously inhibit tumor ofU14.The mechanism maybe improve abnormal state of immune of micebearing U14 and induce apoptosis of tumor cell.Our study provideexperimental data for anti-tumor mechanisms of traditional Chinesedrugs and clinic. |
