Objective : To study bacteriostasis property and bone-healing property of radiation-iodine allogeneic bone.Method: Animal experiment.experiment in vitro:use allogeneic bone to do bacteriostasis and biomechanic experiment ; Bone transplant experiment : 48 NanChang rabbits were randomly divided into four groups on average,A segmental bone defect models were created at skull parietal bone and tidia bone,the defect were discernly ransplanted radiation-iodine allogeneic bone(A),deep-frozen allogeneic bone(B),freeze-drying allogeneic bone(C) and fresh autogeneic bone(D).Observeing how the wound healing and bone growing and the bone information of bone allografts .At the same time we bury allograft bone under the abdomen skin of rabbits,and take out of them to make bacteriostasis experiment at 2,4,8,12-week.Results:(1)the comprssion strength are 9.85.10.32.5.45.10.80Mpa of the four kinds of allogeneic bone,the difference has a statistical significance(P<0.05).the compressive strength of fresh autogeneic bone is the biggest,that of the freeze-drying allograft bone is the smallest. And that of deep-frozen allogeneic bone and radiation-iodine allogeneic bone is the moderate. (2)The ratios of acteriostasis-ring and bone block's area of adiation-iodine allograft bone to Escherichia coli are 12.9,9.4,9.9,7.9 at 2,4,8,12-week,and to Staphylococcus aureus are 14.3,11.2,10.3,8.3,to bacterium are 10.8,9.4,9.8,8.6.The other groups have no acteriostasis property. the difference has a statistical significance. (3) The bone information of bone allografts: we can see all the rabbits live good,the wounds heal well,no swelling and exudation,no allograft-bone revealing,and the soft tissue covering well,Radiation-iodine allograft bone and fresh autograft bone groups have no exudation and pus local,and the fresh autogeneic bone group have a great quantity of callus growed at 12-week.And we can see swelling of the soft tissue,and little exudation and few tissue like lymph nodes in the deep-frozen allograft bone and freeze-drying allograft bone groups,The fresh autogeneic bone grow callus fairly fast as the deep-frozen allogeneic bone and freeze-drying allogeneic bone groups. Fresh autogeneic bone group and Radiation-iodine allogeneic bone group express strong positive and positive on immunohistochemistry .Conclusion: 1.Radiation-iodine autogeneic bone has no obvious change on the biomechanic property.2.Radiation-iodine autogeneic bone has obvious bacteriostasis property.3.Fresh autogeneic bone has strong bone-healing property.4. Radiation-iodine allogeneic bone retain bone induction property obviously.
