Analysing The Veracity Of The Measurement The Distance Between Tumor And Anal Edge For The Rectal Cancer

Objectives: To analyse the distance of the middle and low-rectal cancer removing to anus evaluate the indication and the operation pattern of the indication and the operation pattern of the sphincter-preserving surgery in low-rectal cancer. Methods: Parallel analyses were conducted for 52 cases(from July 2005 to October 2007)with middle and low-rectal cancer to determine the preoperative distance between the tumor and the anal edge as measured by rectal palpation(designated as"â… "),colonoscopy(â…¡) and the postoperative excised specimen(â…¢). The"â… "was divided into theâ… A groups( the pre-operation medical examination group ),â… B groups ( the hocused and improving lithotony position group ) andâ… C groups (after the rectum was completely dissociated group). The mean value of theâ… A,â… B,â… C,â…¡,â…¢was compared with each other by LSD-T examination.Results: There was significant difference amongâ… A,â… B,â… C,â…¡,â…¢. There was not notable statistical difference betweenâ… A group andâ… B group( P>0.05). There was notable statistical difference betweenâ… A group andâ…¡group( P<0.05). There was huge notable statistical difference betweenâ… A group andâ… C group( P<0.01). There was slim difference betweenâ… A group andâ…¢group, but did not reach the statistical diereference.Conclusions: Because a various of preoperative measure means for the distance between tumor and anal verge, all of them had influence of subjective and mutative factors. The distance between the tumor and the anal edge could be not exactly confirmed. we could not arbitrarily ensure the operation pattern(the sphincter-preserving surgery or Mile's operation). The anorectal finger-examination was important for ensuring the distance between the tumor and the anal edge preoperative or during operative time. We should pay especial attention to the plane difference between the tumour's hem and fundus. This distance had biggish eyeballing error with colonoscopy. We should cautiously think over the sphincter-preserving surgery basing on the distance of colonoscopy. The anorectal finger-examination distance was more accurate after narcosis. Only after the rectum with tumour was completely dissociated, the distance could be exactly confirmed by finger-examination. Depending on this distance we could make finally decision. But should pay great attention the nub of the rectum which had great draw back effect.
