Along with the application and development of Medicine, Minimal Invasive Surgery (MIS) has become an important trend in 21.th. Because of its difficult training, high expense and high complexity, its development is restrained. The Minimal Invasive Surgery Training System, which combines virtual reality and medicine, can solve the problem.Firstly, through analyzing all kinds of the software development tools, we use the software development environment VC++6.0 and programming language C++ to build the system's software platform on the base of OpenGL.Secondly, in the model design of Minimal Invasive Surgery (MIS), we build the geometrical models of related human organs and surgery apparatus which are designed by 3DS MAX and Pro/E and preserved with the form of ASE and STL. We programmed interface routines in the circumstance of OpenGL. Through analyzing the features of volume model and surface model, we rebuild models with surface model and romance them with texture mapping and shading.Thirdly, in order to research organ's reflex feedback of force, we use the finite element model to build human organ's physical model, through analyzing merits and drawbacks of mass-spring model and the finite element model. According to the theory of the finite element, we set up proper number of gird and simplify deformation computation to increase computing speed.Furthermore, we use the fixed direction hull to detect whether they collide. And then, we can detect bounding box collision's position roughly by traversing the box trees in parallel and can exactly determine whether two triangles intersect. So it can increase detecting speed and meet the accuracy and real-time demand.In addition, through analyzing the process of Minimal Invasive Surgery and its technique requirements, we can design the training program for all kinds of operations of the Minimal Invasive Surgery.The MIS Training System provides a visual virtual environment, through which doctors can practice the operation technique and can be trained efficiently.
