Su Wen includes profound philosophic theory.The source,formation,frame,the position and value in history of ideology should be further discussed and explicated. Although "Yin Yang" and "Wu Xing" are integrated in Su Wen successfully,their scope and direction of influence on other thoughts are different.And after the influence of "Wu Xing" over other thoughts weakened,it was preserved well in Su Wen,and inluenced thoughts continually.After consideration mentioned above,this paper tries to discuss "Wu Xing" in Su wen fully.The name of Su wen was already being in Han Dynasty.Quan Yuan-qi in Qi Liang of Nan dynasty was the first person who gives annotations to Su Wen surely.Yang Shang-shan of Sui dynasty annotated thirty scrolls of Huang Di NeiJing Tai Su,from which Su Wen was adapted.Su Wen that we are reding today,which was annotated by Wang Bing of Tang dynasty,was corrected by Lin Yi and so on of Song dynasty.In Xian Qin Taoism and "Wu Xing" were integreted into each other,which formed the foundation of medical Su Wen."Wu Xing" can be summarized all the other things successfully and permeates any scope of thoughts.We can choose five main ones despite of many organs to suit well with "Wu Xing".In Han dynasty,how to match five main organs with "Wu Xing" was one of viewpoints in debate between "Jin Wen'and "Gu Wen".How to match five main organs with "Wu Xing" in Su wen,is similar to Gu Wen Shang Shu school,which is the most reasonable.Su Wen displayed all the ways of "Wu Xing Xiang Pei" thoroughly.As for "Generation","Shui" and "Tu" in "Wu Xing",the former is the beginning and the latter is the most valuable."Shui" and "Tu" correspond to "Kidney" and "Spleen" respectively,so Su Wen highlights the two organs respectively.But as far as Su Wen stresses "Heart",it inherits the concepts about life that originated from the knowledge about "Body and Spirit" of Xian Qin Taoism. In Su Wen,whether in pathology or in physiology,the dependence and the opposition of "Wu Xing" are fundamentals that were advocated in medical treatment.Su Wen thinks that five main organs,which are in the dependence-opposition relationship,are in a balanced condition.The body is also in a good condion.If an organ gets into a temper, other ones will be influenced,which will break the balance.The differences between five main organs are not the use of "Wu Xing" but the extension of their different natures.The five organic functions are the shows of respective natures of "Wu Xing"("Jin","Mu","Shui","Huo","Tu").The Yidao school that originated from Huanglao school has close relations to Confucianism.As a basic nature,"Motion" is applied by Su Wen to viewpoints of life.Su Wen clarifies variety and uniformity of "Wu Xing".Lives of human beings are closely related to Providence by matching five main organs with "Wu Xing".Complete Providence is crucial to unifying and perfecting functions of body.Su Wen drew something concerned respectively from "Si Shi Ying He Shuo"of Confucianism,Taoism,Yin Yang,"Wu De Zhong Shi Shuo"of Zou Yah,Yue Ling,from which "Wu Xing" arose.It regarded "Wu Xing" as a fundamental theory on life and developed a special system.It was Su Wen systemized and specialized "Wu Xing" that makes it become a traditional medical classic and have a high position in history of iedology.
