The Dependable Research Of The Level Of Serum Gonadal Hormone And Type And Treatment Of Chinese Medicine About Acne

Objective: We detect the level of gonadal hormone (T, E₂) in different types and observe the change of level of gonadal hormone and clinical symptoms before and after treatment to discuss the dependabability between the level of serum gonadal hormone and type and treatment of Chinese Medicine about acne so as to analyze the effect of Chinese medicine to improve the level of serum gonadal hormone and clinical symptoms to make a new way for the combination of TCM with Western medicine of the treatment about acne.Methods: All the patients who are diagnosed by acne coming from No.1 affiliated hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM from October, 2007 to April, 2008. We divide them into two groups, one is excessive heat of lung and stomach(44), the other is disproportion of Chong-ren(42). The first group take Pipaqingfeiyin and the other take Erzhiwan and Sinisan. Four weeks for a course. Then we test the level of T and E₂ and compared with the normal control group and record the improvement of damage of skin.Results: Before the treatment, we compare with normal control group, the level of T in the type of excessive heat of lung and stomach is obviously higher(P<0.01) while E₂ is not(P>0.05); in the type of disproportion of Chong-ren, T is higher(P<0. 05) while E₂ is lower(P<0. 01). After the treatment, the level of T in the type of excessive heat of lung and stomach is obviously higher(P<0.01) while E₂ is not(P>0.05); in the type of disproportion of Chong-ren, T is lower(P<0. 01) while E₂ is higher(P<0.01). The total effective power is 81. 2% in the type of excessive heat of lung and stomach while 83. 33% in the type of disproportion of Chong-ren of Chinese medicine. Conclusion: There is something to do with gonadal hormone and type of Chinese Medicine and differentiation of symptoms and signs for classification of syndrome can obviously improve the level of gonadal hormone and the damage of skin.
