Studies On The Synthesis Of Cyclic Dipeptides

During the course of searching for biological active natural products,a new cyclic dipeptide,PJ147,was characterized from Gliocladium sp.YUP08.PJ147 showed strong activities against the cancer cells selected.This thesis is to deal with the synthesis of cyclic dipeptides.A synthetic route for PJ147 was proposed with a good yield.Obtained dipeptides Cyclo(L-Ala-Gly),Cyclo(L-Phe-Gly)by condensation of N-terminal protected L-alanine,L-phenyalanine and C-termininal protected L-glycine,Pd/C catalytic hydrogenating and cyclizing.They were determination by comparison of the melting point and ~1H-NMR data with those of authentic sample.PJ147 was prepared from Cyclo(L-Ala-Gly) and(E)-4-(3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dienyloxy)benzal-dehyde with a yield of 65%.10 other analogues were prepared from Cyclo(L-Ala-Gly),Cyclo(L-Phe-Gly)and corresponding aldehydes.
