| Objective: To investigate relationship between polymorphism in Classâ… /â…¡HLA antigen, STR loci and longevity. Methods: 16 males and 14 females(age≥90) from outpations and inpations served as the longevity group;150 blood donors served as the control group. Blood samples were drew venously with EDTA anticoagulant. Genotypes of HLA-A, B, DR were used SSO assay, HLA-DQ used SSP assay, 15 STRs used capillary electrophresis assay. To analyze the difference in frequency of HLA alleles and STR loci between two groups, and the influence of homozygosity on longevity. Results: Two subjects were genotyped by testing HLA-A, B, DR,DQ antigens and STR in 30 nonagenarians and 150 control subjects .There was a significant difference in the frequency of HLA-B58 ( P<0.05 ) . HLA classâ…¡had no significant difference, 5 out of 15 STR loci had significant difference,( P<0.05) . In the longevous group, practical homozygosity frequency of D13S317 loci was higher than theoretical, while D16S539 loci was the opposite. Conclusion: these results showed that B58 was inverse association with longevity, the HLA classâ…¡had no significant association with longevity, D8S1179-10, D7S820-8, D2S1338-21, VWA-15, D18S51-21 were positive association with longevity. It was observed that homozygosity of D13S317 loci was positive correlation with longevity, while D16S539 loci was negative correlation with longevity. |
