Flavonoids,fatty acids and its esters are main bioactive constituents of Chinese propolis. In this article we explore method to evaluate the flavonoids and other bioactive contituents,fatty acids and its esters of Chinese propolis with HPLC, and UPLC. The result of research will take positive roles for the analysis. QC and evaluateion of the Chinese propolis. This Paper consists of three chapters, and the author's contribution in the three aspects as in the follows:1,The HPLC method to detect the content of Rutin, Myricetin, Quercetin, kaempferol,Apigenin,Pin ocembrine, Chrysin and Galangin in propolis was optimized, 120 samples from 10 provinces was analysised,The results indicated that there is no obvious differents in average flavonoids content between different areas.2, An ultra performance liquid chromatography method for the analysis of twelve bioactive components: ferulic acid, rutin, myricetin, morin, quercetin,kaempferol,apigenin,pinocemb rine,chrysin,galangin,acacia and caffeic acid phenethyl ester in propolis was established, 106 samples was analyst,the content was from 11.4% to 16.4%.It indicated that quercetin,pinocembrine, chrysin and galangin are mutual constituents in all propolis samples,Bioactive constituents and their content has also been compared between different provinces.3, Based on the sample preparation methods and chromatography conditions, 120 chromatographic fingerprints of propolis in 17 regions of 10 provinces were established, it found the similarity range of simulative mean chromatogram was between 0.793±0.041 and 0.962±0.023 within each provinces through similarity comparison of chromatography pattern. It suggested the similarity of chromatography pattern was high within same province except Yunnan province.
