Clinical Research And Significance Of Supine Fulcrum Pressurize Radiograph For Predicting Cure Flexibility And Surgical Correction Result Of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis

Objective: A comparative evaluation of supine fulcrum pressurize radiograph to determine cure flexibility and predict surgical correction in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS)Method: A total of 65 consecutive patients with AIS according to inclusion and exclusion criterias who underwent surgical treatment were studied. All curve types were single structural scoliosis and the Lenke classification wereâ… /â…¡/â…¢/â…¤/â…¥. All patients were undergoing preoperative X-ray of standing, gravity-suspendig traction,supine bending, fulcrum benging, supine fulcrm pressurize and postoperative standing X-ray. All case underwent surgical treatment according to supine fulcrum pressurize radiograph to predict cure flexibility, adopt TSRH fixation system. The Cobb's angles were measured and the flexibility ratio was determined on fulcrum pressurize radiograph. The correlation of Cobb's angles between fulcrum pressurize radiograph and others radiograph were analyzed. The Statistical analysis obtained by fulcrum pressurize radiograph flexibility was compared with the postoperative correction rate and flexibility of supine bending radiograph.Result: For two groups,there were significant difference (p < 0.05 ) between the mean Cobb's angle on fulcrum pressurize radiograph an others preoperative radiograph. In the moderate curve,Cobb's angle on fulcrum pressurize radiograph compared with postoperative standing radiograph has no significant difference (p=0.068) and the correlation was positive correlation(r=0.799), curve flexibility provided by fulcrum pressurize radiograph has no significant difference (p=0.137). Correction rate of fulcrum pressurize radiograph compired with fulcrum benging radiograph has significant difference (p < 0. 05) .For the flexible group, Cobb's angle on fulcrum pressurize radiograph compared with postoperative standing radiograph has no significant difference(p=0.064) and the correlation was positive correlation(r=0.682).Conclusion: The supine fulcrum pressurize radiograph was more precdicting of the flexibility and postoperative correction of flexible group in AIS .It can provide reference for chosing Surgery programme.
