A Study Of Physician-nurse Relationship-the Analysis Of History, Current Situation, Problems And Form Factors

Objective: Physician-nurse relationship is one of the basic human relationships in hospital. it will redound to provide the individuality effective and holistic care and promote the sustainable development of the nursing staff. Study physician-nurse relationship from history review and investigation in order to understand the status quo and find the problems of physician-nurse relationship, determine influencing factors of it,propose countermeasures for building a harmonious physician-nurse relationship.Methods: Application the theoretical study and practice investigation methods. Theoretical research review the history of physician-nurse relationship, discuss the impact of the various historical periods, different medical model. Reference the results of the social status and design the questionnaire to investigation the status quo of physician-nurse relationship. The research methods included observation method,open interview method and close questionnaires. the data were analyzed by SPSS 15.0 soft wares.Results: Investigation from economic, social rights and interests, occupational prestige show that doctors is higher than nurses on the social status. Physician-nurse relationship is unequal. Combining history research, analysis of influencing factors of physician-nurse relationship, including the following five aspects:historical reasons, the biomedical model, nursing ranks of factors, policy factors,orgnization and management syetem. By the investigation of physician-nurse social status,we found the influencing factors also include the hospital of patients, economy treatment, vocational importance; working hospital of doctors, technical requirementsof work, sense of achievement, stability of work;degree of specialization, work pressure.Conclusion: This study suggests that the current situation of not attach importance to medical care are a widespread problem, deserves our attention. Under the existing problems and form factor analysis, makes the following recommendations:First, we must acknowledge that a later start of nursing than clinical medicine, and promote the development of nursing actively. Second, change the status of medical care light, we must change the medical service concept, change biomedical model. Third, the care team must strengthen its own building. Finally, nursing must adhere to the scientific development concept, the development needs the national policy on the guarantee.
