[Objectives]Animal growth promoter, one kind of endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDs), plays an important role in the stockbreeding. But the problem of abuse of animal growth-promoter is very severity becouse some people want to pursue the financial benefit. As a kind of Eds, it can supress the synthesis and the secretion of the other hormones in the human body. It causes poultry internal secretion function unconventionality, the function disorder, metabolism abnormal. The same sign can be found in the human body if he take too much meet which contain overabundance animal growth-promoter. Some specialists have doubted that the use of animal growth-promoter had correlation with children precocity. More serious it may be the reason of reproduction ability decreasing in male. So we design the assay to study whether ethephon can effect physiological and behavior development of rat in adolescency, and to discuss the corresponding mechanisms. Thereby, it will provide initial experiment base for further study about animal growth-promoter's effects on children's development and animal growth-promoter environmental risk degree value.[Methods]40 adolencese male Wistar rats were randomly assigned into 4 groups with each 10 rats. Rats were dosed for 30 days by feed with animal feed addictive. We observed the following targets: 1.Body weight 2.testicular and epididymal index; 3.sperm examination: sperm counts,sperm motolity and malfomation sperms were performed with routine procedures; 4. Serum sex hormone derermination:serum testosterone(T), follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and lutenizing hormone (LH)were determined with radioimmunity methods 5.The infuluence of aniaml growth-promoter on the capality of anti-oxidizing in the testis 6.The effects on testicle mark enzymes.[Results]1. Body weightThe body weight in high dosage group were significantly lower than those in control group ( p <0.05 ), but no significant diference was found in the middle and low dosage groups (p>0.05). 2. Testicular and epididymal index:No significant diference was observed in tescicular and epididymal index between the control and tast groups (p >0.05). No Significant diference was observed in total sperm counts and abnormal sperm counts between the control and Test groups (p >0.05)3. Sperm examination:The rate of viable sperms and the degree of sperm motility and in the middle and high dosage group were significantly lower than those in control (p <0.05), while the abnormal sperm counts in the middle and high dosage group were significantly higher than those in control (p <0.05). Athough no significant diference was foud in the abnormal sperm counts between the low dosage and control groups (p >0.05), the rate of viable sperms and the degree of sperm motility were significantly lower than those in control group (p <0.05).4. Serum sex hormone determination:The serum testosterone (T) in all test groups were significantly lower than those in control (p <0.05), the difference has statistics significance. The follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) in high doses group were much higher than those in control (p <0.05), the difference had statistics significance. While The serum Estradiol (E2) in all test groups were significantly lower than those in control (p <0.05).No no significant diference were foud in serum Luteinizing hormone (LH) between the test groups and control groups (p >0.05) The difference has statistics significance.5. The infuluence of lysine aniaml growth-promoter on the capality of anti-oxidizing in the testisThe activities of MDA in the test groups were increased significantly than control (p<0.05) while the activities of SOD in the middle and high dosage group were significantly higher than those in control (p<0.05). The difference had statistics significanceThe activities of GSH in the high dosage group were increased significantly than control group (p< 0.05). The difference has statistics significance6. The effects on testicle mark enzymes.The activities of LDH and ALP in the middle and high dosage groups were increased significantly than control (p<0.05) while the activities of ACP in the test groups were significantly higher than those in control (p<0.05). The difference has statistics significance, the difference had statistics significance.[Conclusions] 1. Lysine animal growth-promoter can inhabit the development of male mice if they feed with high dosage animal growth-promoter2. Lysine animal growth-promoter can act on reproductives system of male mice, and the intensity of the effect depends upon the dosage of exposed to it3. Lysine animal growth-promoter can decrease the sperm counts and sperm quality.4. Lysine animal growth-promoter can increase E2 and FSH in serum while decrease T in sperm5. Lysine animal growth-promoter can decrease the capality of anti-oxidizing in the testis.6. Lysine animal growth-promoter can weaken the ability of reproductives system of male mice through by testicle mark enzymes...
