Objective: To discuss the minimally invasive surgical treatment- laparoscopic choledocholithotomy T-tube drainage (LCHTD) for Hepatolithiasis. Methods: By retrospectively analyzing 36 cases of hepatolithiasis with minimally invasive surgical treatment, compared with 36 cases which treated by laparotomy in our hospital in recent years, the key points of this operation and its advantages were described. Results: Compared with laparotomy, the minimally invasive surgical treatment-laparoscopic choledocholithotomy T-tube drainage (LCHTD) for hepatolithiasis was less in blood lost of operation, and was shorter in the convalescence of gut and hospital stay. However, the operation time was longer and the common complication did not differ between the two groups. Conclusion: This operation avoids the harmful extensive dissection. It is helpful for the convalescence of the patients and the improvement of the patients' living quality.
