Effect Of IL-8 In The Perpheral Blood And Clinical Research On Efficacy Of Cute Exacerbations Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Treating With TANREQING Injection

Objective:Evaluating the clinical efficacy of TANREQING Injection treating acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD),and observing its effects on the pulmonary function,blood gas analysis,IL-8 in such cases.Methods:According to criterions,60 AECOPD patients from February 2007 to February 2008 in our hospital were divided randomly into two gruops,30 cases as treated group,which were treated with TANREQING Injection 20ml and conventional therapy of western medicine.30 cases as controlled group,which were treated with conventional therapy of westem medicine.All patients were given conventional therapy of western medicine such as controllable oxygen treatment,anti-infection,spasmolysis,dissipating phlegm and antasthmatic,and the treated group was added TANREQING Injection 20ml.The syndrome and objective sign were observed,as well as the pulmonary function,blood gas analysis were detected before treating and the first day after treating.IL-8 was detected at 06:00 in the momig in the second day in hospital before treating with TANREQING and the first day after treating.At last,all data were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 for windows.Results:1.The treated group was superior to the controlled group in the curative effect and the relieving of TCM syndrome such as cough,volume of sputum,breathe,rales(p＜0.05).It indicated that TANREQING Injection could improve the curative effect of AECOPD.2.After treatment,the pulmonary function was improved significantly in both groups(p＜0.01),but there were no significant differences between the two groups(p＞0.05).It indicated that there was no difference efficacy in improving the pulmonary function between the two treatments.3.After treatment,the PaO₂.PaCO₂ of blood gas analysis were improved significantly in both groups(p＜0.01).And the treated group was superior to the controlled group(p＜0.05). 4.IL-8 in the peripheral blood:IL-8 in the peripheral blood of both groups reduce(p＜0.01),showing significant difference.And IL-8 reduce more greatly in the trail group(p＜0.01).So we can see that the effect of the trial group on IL-8 in the peripheral blood is more significant than the one of the control group.5.There was no serious adverse effects in both groups,which indicated that it was safe in conventional therapy of western medicine cooperated with TANREQING Injection.Conclusions:1.The therapeutic efficacy of conventional therapy of western medicine cooperated with TANREQING Injection in treating AECOPD is superior to conventional therapy of western medicine.2.The TANREQING Injection's reducing AECOPD patients' level of IL-8 maybe part of the mechanisms of treating AECOPD.
