[Objecive]Through the detection of the IMT(Intima-media thickness) of the carotid artery,the formation of the plague and the hs-CRP(high-sensitivity C-reactive protein)tests,discuss the relationship between these factors and the Coronary Atherosclerotic Heart Disease(CAD).[Methods]Select 120 in-hospital patients of our hospital who have suffered from chest pain,chest distress and suspiciously diagnosed as CAD.After admission,do the carotid artery high-frequency Ultrasound to detect the IMT of bilateral carotid artery and the plagues,also do the optional coronarography.According to the results of the coronarography,the patients can be divided to CAD group and the non- CAD group(control group) Considering the different level of disease,we made the further classification as single branch group,double branch group and the triple branch group. Also,the patients are divided to several subunits depending on the stenosed level of carotid artery and the results of the carotid artery high-frequency Ultrasound.Test the serous hs-CRP,blood fat and other indexes,Finally,do the Statistic analysis of results.[Results]1.90 patients definitely diagnosed as CAD do the optional coronaro graphy,including 28 patients of single branch group,26 patients of double branch group,36 patients of triple branch group and 30 negative patient(control group).2.The results showed that there is no significant difference of the left and right carotid artery IMT between the control group and other groups(P>0.05).The inside diameter of the right common carotid artery of control group and other three groups are greater than the left and there is significant difference between right and left(P<0.05).To the double branch group,blood speed of right carotid artery is distinctly lower than left,and there is significant difference between right and left which is not in other groups(P>0.05).3.IMT of the right carotid artery In the CAD group is thicker than the control group,and there are significant differences between the control group and the double branch group,so is the control group and the triple branch group(P<0.05).Also,there is significant difference between IMT of the right carotid artery in the single branch group and double branch group,so is the single branch group and the triple branch group(P<0.05).There is significant difference between the control group and other three pathological groups in the inside diameter of right common carotid artery(P<0.05).Also,there is significant difference between the inside diameter right common carotid artery of the single branch group and the double,triple groups(P<0.05).The blood speed of right carotid artery in the control group are much greater than the three pathological groups,so there is significant difference between them(P<0.05).4.Referdng the IMT of the left carotid artery,the control group is lower than the CAD group,and there is significant difference between the control group and the double,triple group(P<0.05).In the single branch group, IMT of left carotid artery is much lower than the double group and the triple group, and there is significant difference between these two groups.IMT of left carotid artery in the triple branch group is higher than the double branch group,and also has the significant difference(P<0.05).The inside diameter of left common carotid artery in the control group and the three pathological groups has the significant deference(P<0.05).The inside diameter of left common carotid artery in the triple branch group has the significant difference with the single branch and the double branch group(P<0.05).The blood speed of left carotid artery in the triple branch group has significant difference with the control group and the single branch group(P<0.05).The average IMT in the single branch group and the double,triple branch group has the significant difference(P<0.05).5.The average inside diameter of common carotid artery in the control group and the double,triple branch group has the significant difference(P<0.05).The average inside diameter of common carotid artery in the single branch group and the double branch group,triple branch group has the significant difference(P<0.05).As to the average blood speed,it is much greater in the control group and the single branch group than the triple branch group,and has significant difference with the triple branch group(P<0.05).6.The relevance ratio of the plague in the CAD group is obviously higher than the control group(P<0.05),and in the three pathological groups,the triple branch group is distinct higher than the single and double branch groups and there is significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Mentioning the AS Score,Crouse Score and the amount of the plagues,there are significant differences between the CAD group and the control group(P<0.05),so is the triple branch group and the single,double branch groups(P<0.05).There is significant difference between the double branch group and the single branch group in Crouse Score(P<0.05).7.When the IMT is low-grade,middle-grade,high-grade thickened,the corresponding stenosed level of the coronary artery is(78+14)%,(94+6) %and(96+4)%,and has the significant difference with the low-grade thickened group(P<0.05).The thickening of IMT and the stenos is of the coronary artery are highly positive correlation.In the low-grade thickened group,the ratio of pathological changes of single,double and triple branch group are separately 18.75%,43.75% and37.50%and in the middle-grade thickened group are 12.50%,31.25%and 56.25 %,while in the high-grade thickened group are 10.53%,21.05%and 68.42%.In the low-grade thickened group,the double branch pathological changes mostly occurred while in the high-grade thickened group,the triple branch pathological changes signify cantlincreased.8.In these there stenosed groups,the level of IMT are higher than the control group,and there are significant differences between the control group and the middle-grade,high-grade thickened groups(P<0.05).As to the score of the plague,the control group are obviously lower than the CAD group,and there are significant differences between the control group and the middle-grade,high-grade thickened groups(P<0.001).The low-grade thickened group and the high-grade thickened group has the significant difference in the score of plague(P<0.05).9.Referring the score of the carotid artery atherosclerotic level,Crouse Score and the amount of the plagues,there are significant differences between the angina group and the myocardial infarction groups and the control group.(Separately are P<0.05or P<0.001).However,there is no significant difference between the angina group and the myocardial infarction group(P>0.05).10.The serous hs-CRP levels of three pathological groups are remarkably higher than the control group(all P<0.01),and as the augment of the amount of pathological branches,the serous hs-CRP level increases.11.The pathological branches of the coronary artery has the positive correlation with the average IMT of the carotid artery and the formation of the plagues(r=0.626,r=0.969,P<0.001).12.IMT of the carotid artery and the hs-CRP are significantly related(r=0.49,P<0.01).[Conclusion]1.The incidence ratio of the plague and it is increasing with the augment of the pathological branches of coronary arteries.Also,with the augment of carotid IMT,the degree of coronary stenosis is increasing.2.The degree score,Crouse score and the amount of the plagues in the angina group and the myocardial infarction are obviously higher than the control groups,and there is significant difference comparing with the control group.3.The serous hs-CRP in the coronary group in much higher than the control group,and with the increasing of the hs-CRP,the pathological change of the coronary is more and more severe.4.The carotid IMT and the hs-CRP are significantly related.
