Clinical Study Of Bu-Shen-Yang-Jing Decotion In Treating Infertility Due To Luteal Phase Deficiency

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of Bu-Shen-Yang-Jing Decoction on Infertility due to Luteal Phase Defect(LPD)with deficieny of kidney.Methods:60 patients were divided into two groups randomly:the treatment group and the control group.They were studied by radioimmunassays for female hormone such as Luteinizing Hormone(LH), Follicle Stimulating Hormone(FSH),Prolactin(PRL),Estradiol(E2),Progesteron(P),and Testosterone(T) and by B type ultrasound merchine monitoring the development of follicles and endometrium before and after treatment.Results:(1) After treatment the symptoms and signs of both groups had been improved.(2) There were significant differences between the effective rates of the two groups.(3) The indexes of BBT had been significantly improved after treatment in the treatment group,and there were no significant differences in the control group.(4) After treatment FSH,LH level did not change significantly in both groups,but T,PRL level decreased significantly in both groups,and E₂,P level increased significantly in both groups,and there were significant differences between the groups.Conclusion:Bu-Shen-Yang-Jing Decoction is effective in the treatment of Infertility due to Luteal Phase Defect(LPD) with deficieny of kidney and can improve the symptoms and signs significantly.The decoction also has the good function of regulating the Hypothalamus-Pituitary-Ovary-Uterine Axis.
