Study On Regularity Of TCM Syndromes In Patients With Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Objective: The paper analyzed regularity of TCM syndromes in patients with SLE,and offered some evidences on standardizing TCM syndromes. Methods: We collected 160 clinical cases of SLE from 2006.3 to 2008.1.and progressed the statistical analysis of TCM syndromes,The results displayed that the syndromes of toxic heat flourishing,yin asthenia calor internus,stagnated heat blocking,asdthenic splenonephro-yang were most common in the clinic.Then we collected patient's basic instances,clinical symptoms,quantitive indexes of laboratory ,whose TCM syndromes consistented with one of above-mentioned syndromes. Through statistical analysis, we found out the relations between above indexes and the TCM syndromes of SLE. Results: (1) The male and female proportion is 1 to 8.92, There were no differences on the differentiation of syndromes through sexuality distributing(P>0.05).(2)The ages of patients were centered 20～40 years old.There were some relations between the patient's ages and TCM syndromes.(3) According to the mean of the the course of disease,the orders were the syndromes of asdthenic splenonephro-yang> yin asthenia calor internus> stagnated heat blocking> toxic heat flourishing.(4)Among the clinical symptoms,fever index,macula index,tired degree index and SLE disease activity index showed outstanding differences in the relative symptoms(P<0.05),and these indexes could make references to the differentiation of syndromes.(5) White blood cell(WBC),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),complement 3(C3) and urine protein for 24 hours showed outstanding differences in the relative symptoms(P<0.05). and these indexes could also make references to the differentiation of syndromes; Antinuclear antibodies(ANA),double stranded DNA(ds-DNA) were great needs for disease diagnosis, C-reactive protein(CRP) was useful to judge the disease severity degree.But these three indexes showed no differences in the relative symptoms(P>0.05). Conclusion: SLE was commonly onset in female;Some clinical symptoms,quantitive indexes of laboratory could make references to the differentiation of syndromes.
