Quantification Of Pathogeny Factors In Wind-hot And Hot-wetness Cold Caused By Exogenous Evils And Multidimentional Correlation Study

OBJECTIVE: To discover the relationship between several etiological factors of common of wind-hot and hot-wetness type, and the relationships among these etiological factors.METHODS: According to the theory of diseases caused by exogenous evils in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and considering the extension of matter-element, meteorology, and epidemiology, we designed a questionnaire to find the possible etiological factors that patients confronted, including environmental factors, meteorology factors, individual physiology, psychology, and habit factors. We collected clinical data of wind-hot type and hot-wetness type patients at test plot. Construct database, evaluate the quality of the data, use the way of decision tree to data mining and analyze data. By calculate the information gain to determine the contribution of every factor in the process of invasion, get decision tree, and display the correlativity among the factors. And we set up a pathogeny analyzing system for diseases caused by exogenous evils.RESULTS: We got 1615 pieces of clinical record, in which 1348 are wind-hot type, and 267 are hot-wetness type. Analyze data, get decision trees. We find that in the normal data, living stand, region, and educational background play important parts, information gain respectively is 0.268, 0.25, 0.243. In living habits and anamnesis, exercise habit and case history work mostly, the information gain respectively is 0.361, 0.289. In environment and meteorology factors, wind force, temperature difference and average temperature effect the occurrence of wind-hot type, information gain respectively is 0.307, 0.293, 0.281, contrast to wetness, temperature and average temperature difference influence the occurrence of hot-wetness type, information gain is 0.295, 0.283, 0.279. Combining various kind of factors, temperature difference, case history, wind force play main roles in the development of wind-hot type, with the information gain 0.311,0.306,0.289, and average temperature, wetness, case history play main roles in the development of hot-wetness type, with the information gain 0.306,0.288,0.283.CONCLUSION: 1. Income. and education effect patients' action of taking hospital treatment; 2. Weather factors (average temperature, wetness and temperature) have obvious influence on wind-hot and hot-wetness cold caused by exogenous evils; 3. The relation between the occur of hot-wetness type of cold and wind force is inverse correlation. 4. Proper sports could reduce the occurrence of disease caused by exogenous evils; 5.
