Research On The Expression Of P16 In The Lesions Of Bowenoid Papulosis And Condyloma Acuminatum And The Relationship To HPV DNA

Background:Bowenoid papulosis(BP) and condyloma acuminatum(CA) are associated with the infection of human papillomavirus(HPV).CA is associated with the infection of low-risk HPV,but BP is with the infection of high-risk HPV.Wade referred that the pathology of some cases of BP is similar to CA,especially with the koilocytosis,which the cell with perinuclear halo formation with a thick cytoplasmic border.It's hard to differentiate them.Some cases of bp have the possibility of the tendency of atypical hyperplasia or cancerization. Researches show that p16 protein increases and increases by different extent in the lesions of CA and BP caused by HPV.Some researches show that the increasing of pl6 protein has positive correlation with the infection of high-risk HPV,others show that only the positive translation of pl6 gene has positive correlation, except for the negative one.Objective:To detect the expression of pl6 gene and the type of HPV DNA in the lesions of CA and BP.In order to identify the role of pl6 and HPV DNA in discussing about the tendency of BP and CA transferring to atypical hyperplasia or cancerization and supply the evidence of clinical therapy. Results:Partâ… showed us that there is significant difference on the expression of p16 in lesions of normal prepuce,CA and BP. And the expression of p16 in the lesion of normal prepuce is lower than CA,and CA is lower than BP.Partâ…¡showed us that in the lesions of CA,HPV6 DNA is detected positive in 14 cases(50%), HPVII DNA is detected positive in 9 cases(32.1%),both HPV6 and HPVII DNA are detected positive in 3 cases(10.7%),both HPV11 and HPVI8 DNAare detected positive in 1 cases(3.6%),and no HPV DNA is detected in 1 case(3.6%).In twenty-eight lesions of BP,HPV16 DNA is detected positive in 17 cases(60.7%),HPV6 DNA is detected positive in 1 cases(3.5%),and no HPV DNA is detected in 10 case(35.7%).Conclusion:The infection rate of HPV in the lesion of CA is 96.4%, mainly of HPV6 and HPV11.The infection rate of HPV in the lesion of BP is 64.2%,mainly of HPV16.The positive rate of the expression of p16 in the lesion infected by high-risk HPV is significantly higher than what infected by low-risk HPV.But there is no significance difference between negative expression of p16 and negative detection of HPV DNA.
